"Who introduced me to the sport of Disc Golf?
My bowling friends.  We used to go to state tournament together and they played a new course or two when they traveled.  So i said i would try it out and have been playing ever since. "

"What is your biggest Disc Golf accomplishment? Your most proud moment in the sport?
Biggest accomplishment: running successful tournaments that make others happy.
Most proud moment: seeing those i being to the sport achieve their goals and continue raising their ceiling."

"Whats your favorite disc color to throw?
      Dayglow yellow"

"What weight drivers do you like to throw?
      170-175"

"What one disc do you throw the farthest? Pure distance
Ballista pro has been my longest.  Udisc says it was 515ft slightly down hill.  Currently the Pie Pan Spire. 400-425 ft."

      "What do you putt with?
      Pie Pan Baggers"

"What course did you fall in love with Disc Golf on?
First course i ever played was Buck Creek state park.  The course that made me love the sport has to be the Robert E. Miller disc golf course in Canton Ohio. I spent most of my learning experience there and also did course maintenance along with the development of a redesign to 6 holes in 2017."

"Whats the Tournament you circle on the calendar 1st as a cant miss?
Anything at Echo Valley.  #1 course in my book.  "

"In one sentence or less, tell us one interesting thing about you not disc golf related?
I am a bowler.  I'm 37 years old and I've been bowling for 35 years.  I have a composite avg this season of 222 and i owned and operated a pro shop for 8 years. "

"Tell us about your Tournament Day routine and if you carry any lucky charms?
I like to show up early.  The older i get the more stretching and low power throws need to be used to warm up the body.  I'll throw around 10-15 putts and warm up the backhand and forehand for the round.  I will usually have some nerds clusters, welch's fruit snacks and a protein bar with me for mid round. I have a mini that my wife has made for me when my miniature pincher spyro passed away after 15 years. I wouldn't call it a lucky charm but it puts a smile on my face when i see my buddy.  "

"When you play a new course for a tournament what is your plan of action. Play it blind, walk some holes, get the details from a card mate? Tell us how you attack a new course.
Depends what the event is.  If I'm traveling a long way and staying in the area I will go and practice the course.  If it's a day trip I will play some holes but hopefully a card mate has played the course.  It is funny because I always seem to play my best round blind because I'm not fully attacking but playing safe.  If I can see a basket from the tee I can generally find about acceptable line to the green.
