"Who introduced me to the sport of Disc Golf?
My best friend and Ultimate teammate, we used to go out with ultra stars while ultimate was cancelled due to Covid."
"What is your biggest Disc Golf accomplishment? Your most proud moment in the sport?
Placing top 5 at the 2023 United States Amateur Championship at Toboggan. It was my first major and first time playing on coverage. That tournament gave me a lot of confidence to work towards becoming pro."
"Whats your favorite disc color to throw?
Something bright, easy to see."
"What weight drivers do you like to throw?
Anywhere from 170-175 for all my discs pretty much."
"What one disc do you throw the farthest? Pure distance
Discraft Nuke, easily the furthest flying disc I’ve ever thrown."
"What do you putt with?
At the moment, Discraft Challenger OS but if you ask Jonas it’ll probably change 2-3 times throughout the season.😅"
"What course did you fall in love with Disc Golf on?
Lobdell Reserve in Alexandria, OH. It was the first course I ever played with my friend when we were throwing ultra stars around. Such a beautiful course and so many great memories there."
"Whats the Tournament you circle on the calendar 1st as a cant miss?
There’s a couple… College Nationals is the first big tournament of the year I usually play, also the BHMO is an A-Tier that’s basically in my backyard. I also look forward to the Hazy Byop, it’s such fun event and I get to see so many friends down there, definitely a can’t miss."
"In one sentence or less, tell us one interesting thing about you not disc golf related?
I used to play Ultimate before Disc Golf, in 2022 I was able to qualify and compete in both the College Ultimate and College Disc Golf National Championships with The Ohio State University!"
"Tell us about your Tournament Day routine and if you carry any lucky charms?
I usually try to show up at least an hour early, stretch, warm up, throw/putt around until I’m confident. I try to wear whatever I think looks good, fortunately my sponsors make it super easy. Look good = Feel good = Play good."
"When you play a new course for a tournament what is your plan of action. Play it blind, walk some holes, get the details from a card mate? Tell us how you attack a new course.
I like to play a practice round if I can, if not I’ll try to ask someone who’s played it before for info so I can practice that style the week leading up."
